The Scientific Committees

Iranian academy of child and adolescent psychiatry currently has 6 main committees that are responsible for planning and implementing educational, research and mental health projects. these committees are:

– public relations

– publications

– parenting

– autistic spectrum disorder

– mood disorders

– attention deficit hyperactivity disorder

the chairmen of the committees have been appointed by the esteemed chairman of the academy.

The academy of child and adolescent psychiatry welcomes the formation of new committees and suggestions of esteemed colleagues in this field.

Publications

the publications committee of Iranian academy of child and adolescent psychiatry publishes books, educational packages and pamphlets in various fields of psychiatry and child and adolescent psychology in order to increase the knowledge of specialists and raise the awareness of families. these texts are the result of the efforts of colleagues in child and adolescent psychiatry, which are published in the form of authorship or translation in collaboration with other associations or scientific organizations such as the breastfeeding Association, the cognitive Science Research Institute and or publishing houses.

Recently, the academy of child and adolescent psychiatry in the form of a memorandum of understanding with the Ghatreh publications, has published a collection of scientific books entitled “psychology, children and adolescents”. Also, a set of educational packages in the field of cognitive-behavioral interventions in child and adolescent psychiatric disorders is being prepared and published.
